Note MESo there has been some major changes in which doesn't allow me to draw or write or get used to the cold weather. Moving pretty much sucked because I went from mucky and attacked majorly by allergies state to cold, cold, cold, cold, freezing cold state.... with absolutely no usual food or shopping places within a half hour. I was shocked in so many ways that I cannot begin to describe.
I wanted to leave this state so bad and go back to where my parents were. Thinking about that now, I'm glad I didn't. I wasn't used to not being around people I didn't know. I guess the better way of saying that is I'm not used to being without family within an hour's drive. So due to all that and some other things beyond my control, I went hiatus....? Coping with it now is still rather hard. I still want to leave this state but I do not want to go back to that dust bowl of a state.
My husband and I have been going through some life changing events so that keeps me from communicating with others.
1) Had to get used to the area.
2) Had to learn how to cope.
3) My brother lost his 13 year old cat, his SUV got totaled due to some crazy lady, got a dog, and his wife got pregnant all in about 2-3 weeks.
4) We got a puppy.
Note about puppies: They are like babies, especially if you get them at 5 weeks old. We have had sleepless nights due to the crying. If you can't hack that kind of stuff, don't get a puppy... let someone else who can do that care of the little one.
5) We thought our puppy was really sick when just a few days after we got her she was becoming extremely tired, coughing, sneezing. We were worried but thankfully it was only a common intestinal parasite for young puppies that we caught in its real early stages.
I hope I can go back to drawing again but I doubt that until she gets house-broken. Oh right forgot to mention what breed she is. She's a Malti Tzu (1/2 Maltese, 1/2 Shih Tzu). She's adorable right down to her little kisses. The other night my husband said, "Hands up!" At that time she was on her back so she lifted her front paws up to her ears.... It was cute!!!!
Okay I think that is the update.
Later,
